This textured cool hues painting is a representation of freedom, imagination, Salvation, Renewal, and Abundance. 

Freedom from ourselves, our circumstances or Fate.
Inspired by the Colors and patterns of Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in Brazil and some tiny sparks of the soon to be released Avatar movie, the painting at a distance shows a sense of movement through the applied textures and variations of the color blue and green. 

These colors also represent what we all fear, depression, lack of emotion, envy, jealousy, lack of experience while searching for means of freedom. While this may seem exhausting, uneasy and what seems to be the easier way out is to end the cycle is to let go, the textures contradict these emotions by giving a sense of stability to all these emotions that run wild in our mind. 

Completed on a 52x 100cm wide plywood piece this commission art piece consists of textures developed by modelling paste, Acrylics, Dishsoap, with hints of gold leaf.
